Drew Henning

Hitting, Pitching, Fielding, Catching
Drew is currently the General Manager at SSC and is entering his 9th year at the Sacramento City College. Drew manages SSC Easton Cats 18U High School Summer Teams.

Bo Henning

Pitching, Hitting, Fielding, Performance Training.
Bo is currently entering his 2nd year as Assistant Coach at the Sacramento City College and currently Coaches the SSC Easton Cats 17U Summer High School Team.

Rich Moore

Softball Hitting, Catching & Fielding Coach Moore brings 25+ years of coaching experience to SSC. He has coached 15 years of high school softball at both Del Oro and Ponderosa high schools, & compiled many conference & section championships and section playoff teams. Moore has helped over ninety student-athletes advance to the next level and continue their softball playing careers (and education) at the collegiate level.

Erin Caps

Softball
Coach Caps was a two-time Regional All-American, an NCAA consensus All-American, and upon graduation From Oregon State, held school career records for singles, doubles and hits. Coach Caps is an ’06 Inductee in the Oregon State University Athletic Hall of Fame and is the only softball player in school history to be so honored.

Ryan Lovering

Hitting, Pitching, Fielding
Ryan brings over 20 years of coaching experience to SSC. He is currently the Youth Academy Program Director, and oversees the 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U Academy teams. Extended Bio comming soon…

Jon Ray

Hitting, Fielding
After a successful collegiate playing career, Local product Jon Ray (Will C. Wood, HS in Vacaville). Jon coached locally at several high schools before joining the Sacramento City Coaching staff.

 

Brandon Pinckney

Hitting, Fielding
Brandon made all league honors at Sac City and hit .352 as a Freshman and led the state of California in triples Sophmore year. Coach Pinkney was then drafted in by the Cleveland Indians in the 12th round of the 2003 MLB draft (348th pick overall). He played professionally in 1080 games & had 1154 hits in over 4000 at bats with a Career batting average of .290 & fielding percentage of .970 accross 12 professional seasons.

Preston Vancil

Pitching, Hitting, Fielding
Preston was the pitching coach this past summer for the Southern Illinois Miners, a professional team in the Frontier League where he made the all-star team as a starting pitcher the year before. His staff in Southern Illinois made the playoffs this year and boasted the third best team ERA in the league. Several of his pitchers have signined professional contracts, and Coach Vancil has been offered several pitching coach jobs at four-year schools but so far he is content helping out his alma mater (ARC).
